    • You are using Hadron v1.0 so please backup and update to v1.3

All you RT extensions are eons out of date too and all need updating.

      Regards, Mark.

    • The WP dashboard says everything is current. Wouldn't the theme show I need an update? And the plugins as well?

    • No, none of them will show as requiring update in WP plugin manager. Product updates always show here when we issue updates http://www.rockettheme.com/product-updates and there is an RSS feed there to that you can subscribe to. If you look on the template page and the plugins page you will see that there have been many updates to those plugins and templates that you are using.

    • OK.

Should I try and update all these things? In what order does RocketTheme recommend?

    • Yes update them all. It doesn’t matter what order, just do them all.

    • I updated PHP, theme and rokcommon plugins and the site now loads, but it seems to have loaded with all demo content. Am I supposed to rebuild the entire site?? Did I miss a plugin update that should carry over all the settings?

    • I have rolled back my site to avoid any further downtime. I think getting completely current is not as simple as you're making it seem.

    • How are you updating the plugins?

To update our WordPress plugins, you'll simply need to rename the existing plugin folder in the wp-content/plugins directory (for example wp_roksprocket to wp_roksprocket_old) and then place the new folder from our updated zip file into that same /plugins/ directory. Then (if not already done) activate the new plugin.

The theme process is the same, but do not install Hadron 2.0. Use Hadron 1.3 (and Gantry 4, not Gantry 5):

    • Ok gents. I have updated everything, seemingly successfully. Going one by one seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the recommendations.

But I now am unable to edit any posts or pages. I get a completely white screen when I choose to edit page or post instead of the edit screen. I was able to edit successfully prior to the updates.

Any ideas what could be causing this oddity?
